Discuss motives based on your textbook readings.  Martin identifies craft, compensation, and moral concern.  Can you think of other motives which were not included in the text?  (additional research may/should be incorporated into your response to expand the topic).

Relate these values (motives) and ethics.  Use examples if possible from your experience or reading to explain.  Are motives different for different industries and professions? How and why?

Do your motives change over time?  If so, why?
