Journal: Reflection

Revisit the articles read in class as well as topics brought up in all 4 virtual exchange sessions then answer thoroughly the 4 following questions in no less than 700 words and no more than 1000 words:

1. Using the readings as reference, as well as the 4 virtual sessions, did you find that there are common or different concerns with regards to minorities rights among all 4 countries? Please specify which minority groups in your explanation.

2. Do Saudi, Egyptian, Qatari, and Moroccan youth embrace change? And is their perception of change conditioned by religion? What examples showed this?  Does this perception of change and religion differ from one group to another, or within the same group? Do they see it only in particular social or political aspects but not in others? Please provide examples used.

3. Were any of their concerns universal, in other words, are their concerns common to concerns in the U.S.?

4. Your conclusion: what did you learn about Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, and Morocco?

Requirements: to support your ideas, please refer to

a) the articles read in class: use at least one article citation.
