Assignment Overview

The purpose of building trustworthy relationships among organizations is to help human services leaders to find donors, secure grants and funding, advocate for change, educate communities and clients, or even propose interventions in their own organizations. This assignment will help you to recognize the importance of trust, illustrate how trust issues impact collaborative arrangements between organizations in your case study, and identify factors that foster and challenge trust in a macro environment.

Instructions

For this assignment, write a 35 page paper in which you analyze the factors that foster and challenge trust in intersector collaboration in the macro environment for the case study that you have been working on for your course project. Discuss each of the fostering or hindering trust factors relevant to the community, problem, and selected organizations involved in the intervention. Address the following:

-Analyze and describe at least two factors that foster trust among the partner organizations.
-Analyze and describe at least two factors that challenge trust among the partner organizations.
-Evaluate and describe how these factors support or impede opportunities for community collaboration for the selected human services problem.
-Evaluate and describe how intersector collaboration creates opportunities for positive community impact.
-Support your arguments with minimum of three scholarly references, formatted according to APA style.

Submission Requirements

Written communication: Written communication should be free of errors that detract from the overall message.

APA style: Use APA style in citations and references. Include a References page at the end of the paper.

Length: 3 pages, not including the References page.
References: Use at least 3 scholarly resources.
Font and font size: Times New Roman, 12 point
