Reproductive challenges and choices are frequently discussed in the news and media. Chapter 2 discusses some of these challenges along with ways to overcome these challenges and alternative options such as adoption. For this assignment, I would like you to think more about these challenges, choices, and options for individuals who want a child, but are struggling to conceive naturally.

Answer the following questions:

Find a news article (possible websites: usatoday.com; cnn.com; nytimes.com; npr.com) about reproductive challenges and/or choices. Research results need to be present in the article but it can also include some anecdotal information. Articles involving a vague list of information (Top 10 Foods to Eat to Conceive Twins) or exclusively focus on anecdotal information (one persons/couples experience) would not work for this assignment. Topics discussed in the article could include infertility issues, reproductive technology options, surrogate mothers, sperm/egg donors, and/or adoption. Provide link or attached file of the article so I can easily access information to review. Please feel free to check in about your article prior to the due date.
Summarize important research evidence and conclusions within the article. Do not rewrite the news article; focus on the key points and information you found important. Please keep in mind that you need to use your own words to summarize this information.
Explain how evidence from Chapter 2 of our textbook supports or refutes the information in the article. Make connections between course material and the article you found. You can use other academic sources (empirical articles, textbooks, books), but not required.
News articles are not always accurate. It is always a good idea to fact check the information you read. Critique the reliability and validity of the article. Would you accept the information as fact? Are you questioning any information shared in the article? How did you come to your decision? Explain your answer.
What is your opinion about the topic? After you have read the news article and the course material, what is your position on the topic? Do you agree with the reproductive challenge technique and/or choice?
Describe how this information could be useful for individuals or couples faced with these challenges and choices in their own life.
