A Miner’s Tale

Please watch the film which is about a Miner from Mozambique who has migrated to South Africa to work in the diamond mines. He has left his wife behind  in the village and has a new partner in Johannesburg when he discovers that he is HIV positive. This film reveals the complexities of migration and how HIV AIDS was exacerbated by the intense movement expected of the male labor force by colonial administrations and how this affects one family today.
