You are to find an article published in the last two months that relates to the First Amendment. The article can discuss any issue (budgets, security, etc.) but it must include coverage of how a First Amendment right is either being discussed, or at risk.

You are to write a 350-word essay on the article. Your essay must include a summary of what the article says (in your own words), and include an explanation of three major ideas from class. One of these ideas must relate to the First Amendment; another idea has to address the bias of the author– does the author write a neutral article, or are they favoring one side over the other; a third concept is up to you.
