Legends of the Field Students will choose a person who has contributed to our understanding of leisure or recreation. 
One of the attachments below includes a list of “Pioneers” of the field. You may choose a person off this list or it can be someone you learned about in this class or other REC/SMT Courses.
You will write a research article about their contributions to the field and what relevance they have today, if any. Cite a minimum of 3 reputable sources.
Minimum: 3 pages. Maximum: 4 pages (not including cover and reference pages).
