Combined Command Post Training (CCPT 21-1)

This is a two weeks training exercise for South Korean and US. It starts on Sunday and ends on Friday. I was the CUOPS sections. I served as the OPS Officer for the United Nations Command (UNC), Combined Forces Command (CFC), Countering Weapons of Mass Descriptions (CWMD) CJIACG-K. I developed CWMD Training Obejectives for all the theater level Exercise. Training include but not limited to what to do after an attack have taken place. Evacuating civilians, Evacuation drills, Decon the contaminated Areas and people, what resources is needed & How much, Running estimates for supply and Soldiers, Work rest cycles and much more.
I used CBRN-IS to report current, and future attacks to help commander make a sound decisions during the operation. First week, was simulated as 1 week. Second week kicked off with +90 after attack and multiple areas are contaminated, lots of casualties due of attack in the CWMD used during the war-time. We had to react to it and do all we can to mitigate the issues. Real military and forces were not mobilized during the Training. The training Focuses on Computer-based or Stimulation to verify South Korea states of Readiness for the future transfer of wartime operational control from Washington to Seoul.
The participants are South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of staff, Operations Command of South Korea’s group naval and Air force, Combined Forces Command US forces Korea, and Operations Command of U.S Indonesia Pacific.

Overall, it was a good training but I did not think that any real impact was made. If I did not participate in the Training exercise, I don’t think it will make a big difference either.

Feel free to do more research about the training for more questions or just ask me. Paper must be in Army White Paper Format. I have attached a copy. Hope that helps.
